After graduating from the Department of Science Studies at Jeonbuk National University, I continued on to the master’s program at the same graduate school. At some point, the phrase I had often heard — ‘our happiness is not directly linked to the advancement of science’ — began to resonate with me in a new way. This small change in perspective inspired me to pursue the study of science studies.
