After majoring in Science Studies at Jeonbuk National University, I entered the master’s program in the Department of Science Studies at the same university and completed the coursework with a concentration in Science and Technology Studies (STS). I am currently preparing my master’s thesis on the role of energy centers in the process of energy transition policymaking. My research focuses not on scientific and technical experts as specialized actors, but rather on how Korea’s energy transition policies affect the relationships among marginalized local communities, citizens, government bodies, and non-profit actors
